Augie Artiles

Co-Owner / Adult League Coordinator

Augie’s been playing hockey since 1992 and has pretty much done it all—played as a forward, defenseman, goalie, coach, ref, league commissioner, and yes, he was even the guy who drove the Zamboni before ice games at multiple arenas. He handles all things adult league: schedules, drafts, rosters, stats, and keeping grown men from losing their minds over offsides (which, fun fact, we don’t even have). Laid back but dialed in, Augie loves the game and the community around it. He was in the building for Game 7 of the Panthers’ Stanley Cup win—a true Florida hockey moment. He was also at Game 5 in Vegas the year before, but we don’t talk about that.

AJ Artiles

Co-Owner / Youth League Coordinator

AJ’s been in the game since he was five and still laces up whenever he can—whether it’s coaching, reffing, or jumping into a game when someone bails last minute (goalie gear and all). He runs the MRH Youth League with a steady hand and a big heart, making sure every kid leaves the rink a little better than they arrived—on and off the surface.

He’s not just here to teach hockey; he’s here to teach character. From day one, AJ sets the tone: work hard, play fair, and take care of your teammates. After every game, you’ll hear him ask the same thing—“What’s the number one rule of hockey?”—and without fail, the kids yell back: “Good Sportsmanship!”

That’s the kind of experience AJ builds—one the kids remember long after the final buzzer.

Donna Bruggeman

League Admin / Office Manager / Rink Mom-in-Chief

Donna runs just about everything that isn’t on wheels. She handles league operations, business admin, contracts, finances, phone calls, parent questions, and decor that somehow looks better than it should for a hockey rink. She’s the heart of the office and the unofficial team mom to every player, coach, and adult who still needs to be reminded to throw their empty "hockey drinks" in the trash.

She’s the heart of the office and the unofficial team mom to every player, coach, and adult who still needs to be reminded to throw their empty "hockey drinks" in the trash.

A retired Miami-Dade County Schools employee, Donna was technically enjoying retirement—until her sons pulled her back into the chaos of roller hockey. She doesn’t skate, and she’s never played a shift in her life, but don’t let that fool you—she loves this game, this rink, and this community more than most of the actual players in it.

Sandra Regalado

Rink Operations Support

Sandra keeps the office humming and the Gatorades, waters and "hockey drinks" stocked—but that’s just the start. Sandra steps in to manage payments, sell concessions, organizes smelly jerseys and helps keep everything running behind the scenes. She’s been around since the Hammocks Roller Hockey days of the 90s, watching Augie and AJ grow up in hockey skates with her son Omar, and she’s been part of the MRH family ever since.

Known for her green thumb and creative spark, Sandra brings life (literally—there are plants) and personality to the rink. Whether it’s a decoration idea or a quick fix to a messy situation, she’s got it covered. Family means everything to her—and that includes the league.
