Your Voice Can Help Shape the Future of Miami Roller Hockey
Over the past few weeks, we've shared some exciting news about the improvements currently taking place at the rink. Those projects are already underway, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make them happen.
But this is only the beginning.
There are additional improvements we'd love to see in the future, and one of the biggest opportunities to help move those projects forward is coming up on Wednesday, September 3.
Miami-Dade County will be holding its next budget hearing, and we want to show the County just how much this facility means to our community.
Here's how you can help:
✅ 1. Sign the Petition
We've created a community petition showing support for continued improvements to the Miami Roller Hockey facility.
Every signature helps demonstrate that this rink matters.
✅ 2. Write a Letter of Support
This is probably the most important thing you can do.
We're asking players, parents, alumni, coaches, friends, and anyone who has been impacted by Miami Roller Hockey to write a short letter (even just one or two paragraphs) telling us:
- What Miami Roller Hockey means to you
- Why this facility is important
- Why you'd like to see continued improvements

This gives us time to organize all of the letters before the County meeting.
✅ 3. Attend the September 3 County Budget Meeting
If you're able to attend, we'd love to have a strong showing from our hockey community.

This rink has given so much to our community, and now we have an opportunity to help give something back.
