The Future of Miami Roller Hockey Starts Now
There hasn't been a more exciting time to be part of Miami Roller Hockey in years.
On Thursday, August 6th, we hosted our first Community Town Hall to share where Miami Roller Hockey stands today, the improvements currently taking place at the rink, and our vision for the future.
If you weren't able to attend, don't worry—we've posted the entire presentation along with the Q&A session so everyone can stay up to date.
The Biggest News
For the first time in many years, Miami-Dade County has begun making significant improvements to our facility.
Current work includes:
🏒 Resurfacing the rink
🏒 Repairing and preparing concrete cracks
🏒 Replacing all perimeter fencing
🏒 Installing new kick plates
🏒 Painting the rink boards
🏒 Repairing concrete around the outside of the rink
While these improvements won't solve everything overnight, they're a huge step forward and represent the biggest investment in our facility in many years.
Even more encouraging, we've also been told that additional long-term improvements are already being discussed.
This is real momentum, and we're excited about where it's heading.
What's Next
Once construction is complete, we're planning a big return to hockey over Labor Day Weekend, including:

🏒 Adult Learn to Play
🏒 Youth Clinics
🏒 Free Hockey Day
🏒 Grand Reopening Tournament
🏒 New Player Bundle
